Margin Call | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Dylan Matthews Vox Everyone thinks this movie is a fairly routine, not particularly notable drama...my love for Margin Call boils down to it being the one film that, more than any other, seems to understand the modern workplace. Jun 3, 2022 Full Review Margin Call | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Alissa Wilkinson Vox Positively devastating. Sep 14, 2018 Full Review Margin Call | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Roger Moore Tribune News Service Maybe the financial collapse went down something like this... Rated: 3/4 Dec 31, 2012 Full Review Margin Call | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review Afterward, we have a better understanding of the apathy that permeated our economy’s ongoing crisis, which, depending on your outlook, either focuses or alleviates your anger over the situation. Rated: 3.5/4 Mar 6, 2023 Full Review Margin Call | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Enrique Sánchez En Filme Even though Chandor isn't trying to turn his characters into something abominable, the truth is that each of them is, on a bigger or lesser scale, an evil to society. D F Jeremy Irons acting in this movie already make this worth watching. Very good office thriller. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/05/24 Full Review Artin S Script may seem primitive at times, however the movie is a true thriller. An instant classic. Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/13/24 Full Review Robert D Casting was very good and Acting was good but the writing was poor to very poor. These are complex financial products and analysis of them on their computers was poorly explained. In the video The BIG SHORT they used external actors to the action to explain the products and actions of the companies for viewers to understand and more closely follow and understand the actors actions. I have a financial degree and could understand what they were worried and talking about but still the interaction between characters was not fully developed in the plot of the actual story. What was the past interactions between Sam and his ex wife that caused him after two days trading to go to her home to bury their dog and she barely reacts too the death of their dog. The interpersonal and professional relationships are poorly developed and viewers are constantly demanded to fill in the story lines. VERY POORLY WRITTEN and totally dismisses the Tim Geitner Ben Bernanke and all the major Big Bank CEO's meeting to order the actions of all. Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/01/24 Full Review Thera V Outstanding cast, gripping storyline and realistic portrayal of corporate relationships. The finale left me a tad curious of what might have followed. Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/30/24 Full Review Al B The acting is exceptional, with standout performances from Bettany, Tucci, and Quinto (let’s just sidestep Spacey for a moment, ideally forever actually). The film drew me in with its portrayal of the Wall Street elite as the utterly self-serving monsters they are. At its core, it’s a story about a cartel of fraudsters orchestrating one final, massive heist—one that dwarfs anything Danny Ocean could dream of—at the expense of millions of innocent people. The scene that encapsulates it all is Irons stuffing his stupid face with steak and offering Spacey some, the boss with everything pretending to give a f*(k about anyone else. Spoiler - he does not. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/02/24 Full Review Eric N Was very slow and not very entertaining. Good to fall asleep to.
