Continuing our efforts to close the digital divide and connect people wherever they live and work, the effort done by AT&T in recent years has expanded access to AT&T Fiber to more than 500,000 customer locations in communities across South Carolina as of the end of 2024.
The expanded network will give more customers access to super-fast internet speeds up to 5-Gigs.1
“Access to high-speed internet is critical to strengthening our economy, creating jobs, and ensuring families and businesses have the tools they need to thrive,” said Gov. Henry McMaster. “AT&T’s continued investment in fiber connectivity will further solidify South Carolina’s reputation as a national leader in broadband expansion and drive new opportunities for innovation, education, and economic prosperity in our state.”
Today, customers have access to AT&T Fiber in many cities and towns across the state, including Aiken, Anderson, Charleston, Columbia, Cheraw, Florence, Greenville, Mount Pleasant, Newberry, Seneca, Spartanburg and Timmonsville.
